U.S. Army Grants RFID Global’s Visi-Trac Software Certificate of Networthiness and Authority to Operate
Affirms Visi-Trac’s Status as Approved DoD Inventory Management System
RFID Global Solution, Inc., a leading provider of asset management solutions for the U.S. Department of Defense, recently announced that its Visi-Trac 3.x enterprise software has been awarded a Certificate of Networthiness (CoN # 201620336, CoN Type: Enterprise) and Authority to Operate (ATO) by the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM), valid through June 7, 2019.(www.netcom.army.mil).
Visi-Trac has been extensively deployed by the DoD and commercial enterprises to manage aerospace and military components, IT assets, mobile medical equipment and other critical assets. Achieving the CoN accreditation enables RFID Global to better support the U.S. government with a highly functional, cost-effective system that automates inventory management and keeps track of major items used to conduct daily missions. The CoN accreditation is required by enterprise software products functioning within the U.S. Army Enterprise Infrastructure Network. This accreditation applies to all Department of Defense organizations.
With 4 million assets under management, Visi-Trac 3.x delivers critical information on the location and status of fixed or mobile assets using radio frequency identification (RFID), GPS or sensor technologies, locates, tracks and secures these assets in real-time, and supports operational decision-making. Receiving the Certificate of Networthiness underscores RFID Global’s commitment to provide solutions that meet the strict standards of the U.S. Army regarding data compliance and security.
